ZikMe is a collaborative project, led by a non lucrative organisation. Everyone can participate, in many different ways.
In this page, you'll find out how to participate and contribute to the ZikMe project. We're here to create the largest and most detailed artistic encyclopedia, and we'll do it together, so go on, get involved !
Editing data on any of ZikMe's pages is definitely the easiest way to contribute, and probably the most effective one. Indeed, we all have some knowledge about our favorite tracks, artists or albums. Check out those pages, and add the information with a few clicks. Such a gigantic encyclopedia can only be completed by a huge community of music lovers
If you're an artist, or a label representative, you may want to include your own information (or those of the artist you represent), to make it stand out in discovery tools. Send us an email at
so that we link your user account to your artist page.
You're a musician ? Or an expert in your musical field ? You like a music genre, a period of time or a country ? Then you probably think the encyclopedia needs to be completed.
That's normal, as it's a really new system. Help us make it more accurate, with more details in it.
Please send us an email at
with what you'd like to see in the encyclopedia, and we'll do the impossible to meet your request, and we can work together to adapt the encyclopedia.
If you simply think about an information you can't find on ZikMe right now, you can also suggest it right here. All propositions are gonna be added to the beta version.
ZikMe's development is definitely not a piece of cake. We're 2 guys, working full time on the website for free, helped by a bunch of experts in different fields.
That's why your help is more than welcome! In particular, if you have skills in webdesign, UX, web development, non lucrative law field, or even communication, and you think you want to work with us sometimes, that would be great !
For now, ZikMe is available in English and French (yes we do come from France). But the encyclopedia must be available in all languages!
That's why we'll soon make available a translation screen, to make it collaborative too.
If you think you can translate, even just a work, please check it out, that is a huge help, that a lot of people would be grateful for.
Send us an email at
with your name, and the language you can translate to, and we'll keep you posted as soon as the translation screen is ready!
One really effective way of helping us is by making a donation to the non lucrative organisation. These donations are used to help running the website, paying for hosting and IT services, and for the development of new features.
Donation using paypal will be available soon.
Thanks a lot for having read this page fully, we really need your help !
We really need you !
